We’ve spent the week focusing on finding a place to live and in between our ‘International House Hunters’ Cabigting version we’ve really started getting into a groove on the relaxation. True we have been on our vacation/adventure for nearing 2 months (what?!) but in that time we have been doing a fair amount of traveling and seeing new places and wanting to experience all the sights and adventures we can.
So we have taken a bit of relaxing time. And I already wrote a bunch on this post that sadly did not get logged, but I didn’t want to forget to mention at least a few things about our new digs:

Behind our neighborhood is a memorial/cemetery that is “where all the rich people in Cebu are buried” according to a local friend. Some of the family memorials are extremely grandiose with white marble, columns, CRs (thats a Comfort Room which is what we call a restroom…which makes more sense…and less if you talk to our girls 😆) and air conditioning.

Besides being a lovely place to come to remember family members, it is the local public park hang out. In the early evening this is where you’ll find joggers (not a common sight—more on this later), moms pushing strollers and kids hanging out in groups chatting or practicing dance moves. Reminds me of the same folk you’d spot out taking in the sunset at Green Lake.
