On the water in Bali

Fishing trip! Hired a boat, captained by “Froggy” (couldn’t bring myself to call him this) to take us out and had a lovely time! Sure the fun having took a little while (the beach and ride were nice and seeing the early morning surfers far out on the waves, but then there was a bit of a lull before we actually started catching). But then we started catching!! Ok, Chad and Froggy started catching, but the girls were thrilled with any catching. And they helped reel and wrangle. I spent a fair amount of time trying not to “feed the fish”. After i jumped in for a little break i felt much better.

Before fishing…and a bit during. Not overly exciting but the girls were awesomely patient. Nit A complaint except when marion got a little seasick (legit) and from me (also legit).

How i spent much of the ride, though this is me feeling better, just trying to remain still and calm and nibbling crackers to keep the seasick at bay. Aly’s caretaker nature came out with rubbing my belly and then her sisters. Also buoys temples when she was feeling poorly.

Luckily the seasickness didnt last long for Boo and being in that upside down position really seemed prime inspiration for “chin face” which then turned into just chin beard.
